The Argentine shot-stopper deflected a last-minute free kick to keep Manchester United's lead against the Russian side.

Usually, Manchester United's hero is a player that performs his duties up front, such as Zlatan Ibrahimovic or historically, Wayne Rooney. But today, it was Sergio Romero who earned all the praise.

The Argentinean goalkeeper showed his skills haven't rusted a bit despite not playing regularly, and came up with a key and massive save for Manchester United when time was about to expire. Rostov's free kick seemed to be heading for the top left hand corner, but Romero deflected the shot to keep the score 1-0, providing the Red Devils a ticket for the UEFA Europa League Quarter finals.

Romero stretched his arms as humanly possible to keep the ball out.

Even Juan Mata, Manchester United's scorer, rushed to praise Romero right after the game ended.
