The Red Devils face a difficult time trying to make it into the FA Cup semi-final.

Manchester United’s clash with Chelsea in the FA Cup could reap benefits for Jose Mourinho despite the difficulties of winning. If the Red Devils triumph, the Special One could win his third title at Old Trafford and get revenge for the 4-0 loss they suffered at Stamford Bridge.

Unfortunately, the Red Devils face a selection crisis. A combination of injuries and suspension leave the Portuguese boss with no striker to include in his squad on Monday.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is the first absentee. The club’s top-scorer this season misses out on this important tie, as he begins his three-game ban for elbowing Tyrone Mings.

To pile up their woes, both Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford are unavailable. The first is also dealing with an injury, whilst the latter is sidelined with illness.

The Special one was dealt another blow, as captain Wayne Rooney is also ruled out of the tie. The English ace was involved in a nasty collision with Phil Jones during training, hurting his leg along the way.

Jesse Lingard is expected to start in a make-shift attack, with Henrikh Mkhitaryan possibly playing as a false-nine.
