Serie A - Matchday 28 overview

Next up for Juventus is a home tie against Portuguese outfit Porto. La Vecchia Signora have a vital two goal advantage in hand and are 90 minutes away from booking their spot in the quarter-finals. They also have one foot in the Coppa Italia finals after beating Napoli 3-1 in the first leg. However, having drawn their last fixture, Massimiliano Allegri may not be so keen on ringing the changes for their upcoming tie with AC Milan. La Vecchia Signora are in pole position to make it an unprecedented sixth straight Scudetto and have won their last 30 games at Juventus Stadium - which is a league record.

Still, the Rossoneri will have other plans. The two sides have met three times this season already, and Milan have won two. The last league meeting ended as a victory for Vincenzo Montella's side, and that marked the first time Milan have beaten Juve after losing their past seven Serie A games. They also edged the Bianconeri to win the Supercoppa Italiana, which is their first piece of silverware since 2011 - but haven't done a double over Juve since the 2009/2010 season.

Meanwhile, Napoli are out of the Champions League after losing 3-1 to Real Madrid (6-2 on aggregate). Considering that Los Blancos are the all-time winners in this competition, and Napoli have never made it to the quarter-finals, that result really was not surprising. They also face an upward battle to secure a spot in the finals, but having beaten Roma, they could potentially take over second place with a win over Crotone on Sunday.

As for the Giallorossi, they will also be taking on another relgation-threatened side, Palermo on the road, which represents a great chance for three points. Fiorentina will hope to end a bad run of results that have seen them only win one out of their last five Serie A fixtures as they welcome Cagliari, whilst Inter take on Atalanta in an all-Nerazzurri derby in a game that could be decisive in the race for a top five spot.
