Bundesliga - Matchday 23 overview

Bayern cruised to a very comfortable 8-0 win over Hamburg in the last round, which means that Ancelotti's side are still five points clear of RB Leipzig. Next up for die Roten is an away tie with Köln on Saturday, who were the first side to nick points off Bayern at the start of this season when they held them to a 1-1 draw. That ended Ancelotti's six game winning streak, and will pit two of the two contenders for the Torjägerkanone against each other.

Meanwhile, second placed Leipzig managed to win their game against Köln in order to stay eight points ahead of Borussia Dortmund. Ralph Hassenhutl's men are in action against Augsburg, which happens to be the first match of round 23. As for die Schwarzgelben, they will be looking to make it a third win on the trot as they host Bayer Leverkusen. With Hoffenheim on their tails, Thomas Tuchel's side are locked in a tough race for third spot, and any slip-ups could see Julian Naglesmann's side overtake them. Hoffenheim, who were once the only unbeaten side remaining in Europe's "Big 5" leagues, are in action against Ingolstadt on Saturday.

Sunday will feature Eintracht Frankfurt facing Freiburg, followed by Hamburg trying to shake off the humiliation of their 8-0 defeat as they welcome Hertha Berlin.
