Gareth Bale's timing to pick his first red card as a Real Madrid player couldn't have been worse.
Just as Los Blancos started the second half against Las Palmas, the Welsh superstar was sent off by referee Fernández Borbalán after pushing Jonathan Viera to the ground. Previously, Bale had committed a foul on Viera by kicking his knee, an action that deserved a red card.

Viera falls, takes his hands to his face, and the ref has no choice but to show Bale a second yellow.
Real Madrid will have to wait for the referee's report of the incident, considering that the Welshman could be banned for two games after his furious reaction.
