The Welshman wasn't able to keep his cool just as the second half against Las Palmas got underway.

Gareth Bale's timing to pick his first red card as a Real Madrid player couldn't have been worse.

Just as Los Blancos started the second half against Las Palmas, the Welsh superstar was sent off by referee Fernández Borbalán after pushing Jonathan Viera to the ground. Previously, Bale had committed a foul on Viera by kicking his knee, an action that deserved a red card.

Have a look at the entire incident.

Bale tries to recover the ball, gets frustrated and kick Viera's knee.

Moments later, Viera turns back and pushes Bale.

Bale, starting to lose the plot, pushes Viera back.

Viera falls, takes his hands to his face, and the ref has no choice but to show Bale a second yellow.

Real Madrid will have to wait for the referee's report of the incident, considering that the Welshman could be banned for two games after his furious reaction.
