The French striker has faced criticism from most media outlets, who believe Alvaro Morata would work better as a starter for Los Blancos.

Zinedine Zidane has made up his mind about who should start against Las Palmas, and there seems that no amount of pressure from outsiders will be able to change his mind.

Speaking at the pre-match press conference, the French boss revealed that the thought of sending Karim Benzema to the bench hasn't crossed his mind, and he will use his compatriot whenever he feels the urge of doing so.

Zidane seemed pretty relaxed when asked about a "joke" Alvaro Morata made following the game against Villarreal. The Spanish striker labelled himself as a "second course", given that Benzema is always given the starting nod instead of him.

Real Madrid still have a game in hand against Celta, but before that match is played, Los Blancos will battle Las Palmas on Wednesday to try and keep their narrow one-point lead over Barcelona.
