The Italian boss was fired on Thursday, just months after leading Leicester City to their first English Premier League title.

The man who led Leicester City to their only title in 133 years is now gone, but he left one more token of class while saying goodbye to the club where he reached the stars.

Following his shocking dismissal on Thursday, Claudio Ranieri issued a press release directed to Leicester City's players, coaches, staff, and to the general football fan. The 65-year old coach thanked everyone involved in the journey which led to the team's glorious season, while admitting that some of his wishes were not meant to be granted.
