Football fans on Twitter were having a field day on Saturday when Hertha Berlin held Bayern Munich to a 1-1 draw in the Bundesliga. Premier League side Arsenal were the subject of numerous trolls on the internet following their 5-1 defeat to Bayern in the Champions League on Wednesday.
Many football fans could not understand why Arsenal, a self-proclaimed European giant, could struggle against Bayern, while the likes of Hertha, who are not anywhere near the European greats in the recent past, could hold the Bundesliga giants to a one-all draw in the same week. Some trolls even went to the extent of claiming that Hertha was greater than Arsenal based on the results from the two matches.
Arsenal have now found themselves with a mountain to climb in the return leg of the Champions League tie vs Bayern at the Emirates. And one thing for sure is that the trolls will always be on standby mode with their memes and tweets. Here's the best of Twitter trolls on Saturday.
