Robert Lewandowski has made history once again, this time round in the Bundesliga.

Bayern Munich forward Robert Lewandowski was on target for the Bavarians late into the dying second of extra time to secure a 1-1 draw with Hertha Berlin. The capital city club had taken the lead in the 21st minute through Vedad Ibisevic.

But with just one second remaining to the final whistle, Lewandowski tapped in to secure at least a point for Carlo Ancelotti's side. Lewa's goal now goes down the books of history as the latest goal to have been scored in a Bundesliga match since the 2004/05 season when Opta sports datamining company started collecting data from the German legue (95 minutes, 59 seconds).

This was the 25th goal for the Poland international in all competitions, and 16th in the Bundesliga. Only his Bundesliga rival Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang has more goals in the league this season (17 goals, 19 apps).
