Round 22 of the Spanish Primera Division is upon us. With La Liga well into the second half, the race for the league title intensifies.
The action begins on Friday, but Saturday is when it heats up, as Spain’s first and second-placed sides – Real Madrid and Barcelona – will both take to the field in their respective games. The Blaurana’s clash is the earlier of the two kick-offs.
Luis Enrique’s men travel to Deportivo Alaves, their Copa del Rey final opponents, in what will be a practice for the ultimate King Cup’s game. Messi and Co. must seal this win, as they already trail the leaders by a point despite having played two extra games.
Zidane’s side will take to the field later that same day, traveling to face Osasuna. Les Merengues will be dying to get back in action after their last league game was postponed due a damage to Celta Vigo’s stadium.
Sevilla and Atletico Madrid will have to wait until Sunday for their games. Sampaoli’s crew travel to Las Palmas, whilst Griezmann and Co. play hosts to Celta Vigo.
