The Argentinean striker couldn't lead his new team to a win against Brisbane Roar, getting trolled by his opponents moments later.

Life in the Far East hasn't started as Carlos Tévez expected, as the Argentinean striker wasn't able to lead his team to the next round of the AFC Asian Champions League.

Shanghai Shenhua lost their tie against Brisbane Roar 2-0, forcing the Chinese side to watch the continental competition on their flat screens. To make matters worse, the highest-paid player in the world had a disappointing performance, according to reports from the Chinese press.

Tévez will have to deal with the embarrassment of an early elimination, which is the first one suffered by any Chinese side in almost 14 years.

Added to his woes on the pitch, "El Apache" had to endure some serious trolling, courtesy of Brisbane Roar's Twitter account.
