A Copa MX match could have ended up in tragedy, as Mexican footballer Yasser Corona left the stadium with a cervical vertebrae fracture.
During the game between Correcaminos and Xolos Tijuana, the team Corona plays for, the former El Tri center back cleared a cross from his team's box, but he could not avoid being hit by striker Eduardo Juarez, who managed to lower his head to avoid further damage.
