Serie A - Matchday 22 overview
Last round saw some changes in the table. AC Milan were unable to pull off yet another comeback, this time, against Napoli, and that loss sent Vincenzo Montella's side tumbling down into seventh. That was the third straight game the Rossoneri conceded first, except unlike against Torino in the Coppa Italia and in the league, they were unable to get themselves back into the game. They will have to rebound after suffering a second straight 2-1 loss midweek against Juventus in the Coppa Italia.
Speaking of the Bianconeri, they are still on top of the chasing pack. However, Roma are not giving up without a fight, and Napoli, too, are hoping to still have a say in the title race. The Giallorossi are hoping and waiting for the chance to pounce should La Vecchia Signora slip-up. And Inter are still continuing to be in red-hot form. The Nerazzurri have won their past eight games across all competitions (six in the league) and as a result of this uptick in results, have moved themselves into contention for a European football spot. With them taking on Pescara, who are last in the table, Stefano Pioli's men have a good chance to close the gap on the top three this Saturday.
