AFCON defending champions Ivory Coast play Congo DR for the second match of their group. The Elephants had quite a dissapointing outing in their opening match of the tournament on Monday - they registered a goalless draw with Togo, and are now in dire need of a win to increase their chance of proceeding to the next phase of the competition.
The West African nation boasts of a list experienced abroad-based players, who include the likes of Salomon Kalou, Wilfried Bony, and Wilfried Zaha, who was particularly impressive against Togo on Monday. But despite having a star-studded squad, they still failed to penetrate Togo's mean defence.
On the other hand, the Leopards of Congo need a win to book their place in the next stage of the competition, having secured a 1-0 win over Morocco in their opening game. The Congolese outfit also boasts of a star-studded squad, which includes th elikes of Mbemba Chancel (Newcastle United), Youssuf Mulumbu (Norwich City), Mbokani Bezua Dieumerci (Hull City), and Botaka Jordan (Charlton Athletic).

Morocco lost their opening game vs Togo and need a win to bounce back into the race for Africa's most prestigious football title. A second defeat here would effectively knock them out of the competition. The other side of the pitch presents a Togolese side that registered a barren draw with Ivory Coast.
All eyes will be on star players such as Emmanuel Adebayor and Flyod Ayite. Meanwhile, their opponents have the likes of Soufiane Boufal who plays for Southampton in the Premier League, Mehdi Carcela of Granada in Spain, Nordin Amrabat of Watford in England and defender Romain Saiss of Wolves in England.
