You have to admire Gerard Pique's passion even though it could get him in trouble with La Liga

Gerard Pique is one person who does not hesitate speaking his mind although at times it gets him in trouble with fans, rivals players and officials too. The Spaniard is well-known for his history of taking jibes at rivals Real Madrid and on Sunday, when Barcelona drew 1-1 with Villarreal at the Madrigal, Pique took his grievances to a whole new level. The game itself was characterized by pure drama - Barcelona, who were the visitors, were denied two penalties - the main reason behind Pique's frustration.

After the match, the frustrated 29-year-old dashed to the touchlines and pointed at La Liga chief Javier Tebas in the stands and yelled:

''Did you see that? Did you see that? Yes you!''

Tebas is a well-known Real Madrid fan who has often been accused of being against Barca. In late October last year, Barcelona reported him to Spain's highest sports court after he had questioned their players' actions during the dramatic 3-2 win vs Valencia. The incident occured when rival fans threw water bottles at some FCB players who were celebrating Messi's winner near the corner flag.

Pique also made headlines three days ago in the first round of their Copa del Rey fixture against Athletic Bilbao. Barca were protesting the referee's decision not to award them two penalties, and Pique was quoted saying this after the match:

''I think it's a clear penalty (Neymar being brought down in the box).

''I think mine with the goalkeeper is another penalty (Pique clashed with the keeper), but we know how this works.

''We want to play football and not roulette.''

According to reports from Spain, the former Man Utd defender could be suspended for at least five games for his reactions. Barcelona now trail leaders Real Madrid by five points on the league table, with Zidane's men having one match in hand.
