Digital access to major European soccer leagues is set to increase dramatically in the United States in coming weeks, as premium streaming service fuboTV has arranged to expand its channel line-up following significant deals with numerous broadcasters.

An official statement released on Wednesday, December 14, indicated that fuboTV was about to increase its bundle of channels by over double the current number, as it prepares to serve more than 70 channels to subscribers in upcoming weeks.

The linear OTT distributor has stepped up its game by reaching affiliate agreements with key networks including A+E Networks, Crown Media Family Networks, FOX Networks Group, Fuse Media, NBA TV, NBCUniversal and The Weather Channel.

This new version of the service, which will undergo a Beta launch, will provide new fuboTV subscribers with unmatched sports content from FOX, NBC and Telemundo-owned channels, including FS1, FS2, FOX Sports Net, FOX Deportes, FOX Soccer Plus, NBCSN and NBC Universo.

What does the launch of the new fuboTV mean for soccer fans in USA?

Since its official launch in January 2015, fuboTV has grown to offer extensive soccer coverage to U.S.-based fans via partnerships with major English- and Spanish-language sports broadcasters. This has resulted in subscribers enjoying direct streaming access to all the live action from beIN Sports English, beIN Sports en Español, beIN Sports Connect, Univision, Univision Deportes, UniMás, Galavision, One World Sports, RTPi, GolTV and TyC Sports.

On top of that, it was announced last summer that, in addition to their relationship to Benfica TV, fuboTV’s coverage of Portuguese football would be extended subsequent to a deal that awarded them exclusive online streaming rights to the Primeira Liga. With such an impressive line-up, there is certainly a lot that current fuboTV subscribers can enjoy; but it is undeniable that, as of December 2016, they are still missing out on all the massive action being covered by top networks under the umbrellas of Fox Sports and NBC, for instance.

In terms of content value, this is to say that many of the most important fixtures in the football calendar are presently not available to fuboTV subscribers, unless they sign up with other TV providers. Evidently, this is where Fubo’s immense game-changing move is about to take effect…

With the Beta launch of the new fuboTV in the horizon, soccer fans can now look forward to much more sporting action than ever before – all of which will remain combined under one single subscription at an introductory, discounted rate of $34.99/mo.

fuboTV's new packages include Fox Sports, NBC and Telemundo networks.

Which soccer competitions are coming to subscribers of the new fuboTV?

The following key competitions will all be made available, in addition to soccer competitions that are already being covered by the broadcasters on the existing platform.

Fox Sports:

- FIFA World Cup (also available on Telemundo Deportes channels)
- FIFA Women’s World Cup (also available on Telemundo Deportes channels)

How can subscribers keep up with all the soccer coverage on so many channels?
