The rivalry between Tottenham and Arsenal fans had another chapter written today, as the Gunners' supporters had a field day trolling the opposition thanks to Lucas Pérez's performance.
The Spanish striker joined an elite list of players that scored a hat-trick for Arsenal in the same game he opened his goal scoring account in this competition. Even if he had provided two assists earlier in the tournament, these goals were his first in Europe since joining the team this summer.

But that wasn't the only cause of joy for the Gunners' supporters, as they pointed out that Pérez had scored the same amount of goals as their bitter rivals...with the only exception being that Pérez took a little less time.

Even Jamie Vardy paid the price for his low goal scoring form this season.

Even Arsenal's Twitter feed praised the Spaniard's drive against Basel

But it wasn't the only milestone Pérez reached by helping Arsenal win their group. "Lucas Pérez is the 7th Spanish player to score a UCL hat-trick, while becoming the second to score one with a foreign side behind Negredo
