The game's official, Ricardo De Burgos Bengoetxea, had some questionable calls during the course of the game that affected both teams.

We can understand whenever fans are outraged by a ref's performance, but things got out of control for referee Ricardo De Burgos Bengoetxea during the game between Barcelona and Málaga.

Fans for both teams -and needless to say, Real Madrid supporters- showed their outrage after the referee had a direct influence in the game's outcome. A couple of disallowed goals, not granting a spot kick for Barcelona, sending off two Malaga players in questionable calls, and adding four extra minutes to the already announced four were among the Basque ref's gems.

Here are a couple of infuriated fans blasting the ref for his antics against Los Culés.

Others saw other reasons why Los Blaugranas weren't able to win.

And others were appalled by the ref's spoiled sense of time.

But there's always the other side of the coin, and this is where fans from other teams vented their frustration over Bengoetxea's antics.

And yes, there were those who trolled Barcelona for their failure to score.

So, who got away with an undeserved point after this? Was the ref's performance too one-sided?
