Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers has delivered his final statement ahead of the do-or-die clash against Gladbach.

Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers has urged his players to show some improvement during their UCL tie against Bundesliga side Borussia Monchengladbach. The Scottish giants have only collected one point after three matches in this campaign. When the two sides faced each other at Parkhead in the first leg, the German outfit won 2-0 despite missing some key players. Speaking ahead of this must-win tie, Rodgers told reporters:

''The Champions League has been a brilliant experience for us and playing against the great teams we have played against will prove to be a great foundation for us over the next few years. That will help us for the future but for now we are only concentrating on giving it everything in this game.''

He added:

''There is no doubt we can win here. If we perform to the level that we know we can then of course it is a possibility for us, or else we wouldn't be here.''

But Rodger’s trip to Germany has already suffered a huge blow following reports that the club will be without three more key players, most recently Kieran Tierney who has an ankle ligament injury. Defenders Kolo Toure and Jozo Simunovic are also set to miss this match, and the same case applies to striker Leigh Griffiths.
