Jose writes to the widow of deceased Man Utd fan

Mourinho writes touching letter to widow of a Man Utd fan who recently passed away

October 26, 2016 By Ali M.
The Red Devils supporter passed away in an unfortunate accident. That tragedy didn’t go unnoticed at Old Trafford.

Ahead of Wednesday’s clash with Manchester City in the English League Cup, Jose Mourinho – known for being narcissistic and occasionally despicable – showed he is capable of doing good by writing to the widow of a deceased Manchester United fan.

David Green, a passionate supporter of the 20-time English Premier League champions, sadly left behind his wife and four kids when a dumper truck that tipped over at a construction site where he worked at claimed his life earlier this month.

The Special One penned a heartwarming message to the widow, Jade, in which he sends her and their four kids -- Harvey Rio, Trafford, Bentley and Skyla-Jade – his condolences.

He wrote (as per Colchester Gazette): “I have been informed, and was deeply saddened to hear, that your husband David recently passed away in tragic circumstances.

“On behalf of the staff and players at Manchester United, please accept our heartfelt condolences to you and your children Harvey Rio, Trafford, Bentley and Skyla-Jade, including family and friends, on the loss of your loved one.

“Hold tight to memories for comfort and may the love and support of those around you help you through the days ahead.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with you in this time of sorrow.”

Jose’s next task will be to inspire his boys to victory when they host the Citizens in the Capital Cup. The fact that this fixture is a derby isn’t the sole reason for its importance, as all eyes are on the Red Devils after their recent 4-0 thrashing at the hands of Chelsea.

Of course, Pep Guardiola and his Man City boys are also feeling the pressure after failing to win their last five games in all competitions.
