South American football is known to have some of the most intense fans out there, but this could get way out of control.
Pilar Rubio, James Rodriguez's mother, shared a couple of screenshots via her Twitter feed, revealing that her son has received death threats from a group called Legion Holk. According to Rubio, the threats began a couple of days ago from the Twitter feed with the username "FrekeMan"
"James, national embarrassment! I'm going to your place, and I'm fully loaded. Say goodbye to everything you love. Legion Holk is watching you."
Rubio went on and announced she had informed the police about these threats, adding a number of private messages sent to her account.
"What's happening to people, are they mad? They sent me a DM about how it's better if he was dead"
Since these threats took place, James Rodriguez's mom made her Twitter account private, but she managed to let the world know that she already informed the police, and even the FBI will take matters into their own hands to find the person behind these messages.
