Match forecast

The hosts come into this match without their key midfielder Joe Allen, who suffered a hamstring injury in Thursday’s two-all draw with Austria in Vienna. The Stoke City player will now join another star player Aaron Ramsey in the injury list as manager Chris Coleman tries to come up with a winning squad despite the injury setbacks.

Meanwhile, Gareth Bale has urged his teammates to be strong at home against their tough opponents. And regarding the impressive record the visitors have over the hosts, the Real Madrid star is optimistic that the home fans will play the 12th man role in this epic clash. He told reporters during a pre-match press conference:

"I think it is another big game. It is the old cliche again of we are taking it one game at a time, but that is the way we have been approaching things in the past, and that is how we will continue to do it.

"It is a massive game for us tomorrow and our home form is going to be key to us qualifying."

The absence of Aaron Ramsey and Joe Allen in Wales’ squad and the dominance of Georgia over Coleman’s men could have a negative effect on the hosts in this match. The Crusaders also have the likes of Tornike Okriashvili, who is their top scorer in the current squad with seven international goals.

It will take an extra effort from Bale and his teammates to beat Georgia on Sunday. But as things stand right now, coach Kakhaber Tskhadadze’s men have the upper hand in this tie.
