Los Colchoneros will leave Estadio Vicente Calderón this summer, moving into a state-of-the-art stadium yet to be named.

Atlético Madrid is becoming one of the most recognizable football teams in Europe, and that status requires them to have a top-caliber stadium. With their move to the stadium known as "La Peineta", Los Colchoneros will be achieving that feat, but they had one more announcement to make prior to their move.

Atlético's president Enrique Cerezo unveiled their agreement with the Dutch company Philips, which will provide LED technology for the entire stadium. It will be the only venue in the world with this kind of technology, considering that La Peineta will be 100% lit with LED technology.

The stadium's front will resemble Allianz Arena, as lights will display the red and white colors that give name to one of the team's nicknames.

Here's how Atlético's new stadium will look like from the outside.

The new stadium hasn't been named as of today. Numerous polls around the internet claim for it to be named after the late Luis Aragonés, the Spanish coach who led La Roja to their first-ever international title.
