The 23-year-old seems to be improving with each game he plays for the Red Devils.

Despite a lackluster performance by the Red Devils over Zorya Luhansk in their Europa League fixture on Wednesday, recent statistics show that Paul Pogba was on the top of his game. The world’s most expensive player was the main architect of a series of passes within the midfield but was rarely a threat to the opponent’s box.

Marouane Fellaini marshalled the center of the park as Pogba assumed a free role, and the statistics show exactly how good the Frenchman was. According to sports data company Opta, the 23-year-old made 107 successful passes against the Ukrainian outfit; his most in a game for the Red Devils.

His second-best performance was during the club’s 1-0 win over Hull City when he provided 91 passes. The superstar seems to be setting his foot on the pedal once again after a slight slump in form over the past one week when the Red Devils lost three games in a row.

But he has since showed some glimpses of the Pogba who used to dominate the midfield at Juve. Mourinho’s men now welcome Stoke at home this weekend in the Premier League, before facing Liverpool (PL), Fenerbahce (UEL), and Chelsea (PL) in three key games that Pogba is expected to play a key role.
