The Portuguese superstar was a tad intense during Monday's training sessions, which included sliding tackles against Bale and Benzema.

Cristiano Ronaldo is known to be one of the fiercest competitors in modern football, and after all the controversy sparked by his substitution against Las Palmas, CR7 tried to show he is ready to tackle on his next challenge...even if he has to tackle his own team-mates in the process.

During Real Madrid's training sessions at Signal Iduna Park, Ronaldo seemed to be increasingly frustrated when things weren't going his way. Kicking balls away after hitting his hand, sliding tackles on Gareth Bale and Karim Benzema, and even a short rant against press who weren't "supposed to be there" were among CR7's shenanigans.

Have a look at some of that training session's highlights.

The Portuguese ace is three goals away from becoming the only player in history to score 100 goals in the most important club competition in the world, something he could achieve against Borussia Dortmund.
