A section of Northampton fans told Jose Mourinho what some Manchester United fans have been musing over silently over the past one week.
Prior to the League Cup tie, the former Chelsea boss had suffered three consecutive defeats in all competitions, and seemed to be on the verge of losing yet another fixture but this time round against League One side Northampton Town on Wednesday. And with the hosts having secured an equalizer two minutes to the break following Michael Carrick’s screamer for the visitors, the home fans took advantage of the first half draw to let Mourinho know that he was on the verge of losing his job.
A section of the home fans could be heard chanting, ''You are getting sacked in the morning’’ as the Portuguese tactician walked into the tunnel to address his men. This comes at a time when the Red Devils are struggling to rebuild themselves following three disappointing seasons under former managers David Moyes and Louis Van Gaal. Check out the tweets below confirming the incident.

However, the 20-time Premier League champions managed to put the first-half frustrations behind them by securing two more goals. Ander Herrera and Marcus Rashford were on target as Mourinho's men booked a safe ticket to the fourth round of the competition.
