The Blues captain has been out since injuring his ankle during the 2-2 draw with Swansea.

The man who came achingly close to leaving Chelsea is now being missed, as John Terry’s current absence through injury has left the Blues’ backline in shambles.

The English center-back injured his ankle in the clash with Swansea, which saw the London giants concede two, and thus missed their next game at home to Liverpool, where they also conceded two goals.

Next up for Antonio Conte’s boys is a clash with English Premier League champions Leicester City, with Hazard and Co. set to make the trip to the King Power Stadium in the League Cup.

Ahead of that crucial fixture, the Chelsea captain gave the fans an injury update on Instagram. Unfortunately, the 35-year-old was very vague with a return date.

“My ankle is feeling much better, hopefully I will be back very soon,” he wrote.

How soon is “soon”? That the Englishman kept to himself.
