Man UTD might fat City without Mkhitaryan

Manchester United midfielder set to miss derby due to injury

September 3, 2016 By Oscar Rojas
Armenian midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan could be out for ten days after picking up a knee injury during the ongoing International break

The International Break has apparently delivered bad news for Manchester United, as one crucial player could miss the highly anticipated Manchester Derby on September 10.

During Armenia's friendly match against Denmark, midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan had to be subbed off after picking up what appears to be a knee injury. While the player remains confident he will be able to play the match, doctors remain cautious about his health.

Here's the moment when Mkhitaryan collided with Czech defender Marek Suchy.

The Armenian midfielder has made three substitute appearances with the Red Devils since joining the EPL team, and even if he hasn't been able to secure a spot in the team's starting lineup, his performances have been much appreciated by fans and coach, José Mourinho.
