This summer's Euro tournament has came and gone, and now many of Europe's biggest teams will turn their attention towards the next grand footballing affair: the 2018 World Cup. With the event less than two years away, all the members of UEFA will be kick-starting their qualifying campaigns this weekend.

On Sunday, reigning champions Germany commence with a clash against Norway, whilst England will hope to rebound after their embarrassing Euro loss to minnows Iceland when they travel to Slovakia. Meanwhile, Italy, with a new coach on the bench, take on Israel, Gareth Bale and Wales should pick up an easy win over Mondova, whilst it's déjà vu for Croatia and Turkey on Monday.

The first round of qualifying matches wraps up on Tuesday, with Euro 2016 hosts France expected to earn all three points against Belarus. Sweden, now without the talismanic Zlatan Ibrahimovic, will welcome a Netherlands side hoping to avoid missing out on their second major tournament in a row after failing to make it to to Euro 2016. And finally, Switzerland begin with welcoming Portugal, who shocked the footballing world by beating hosts France in this summer's final to clinch their first ever major international title.
