Arsenal has been handed a massive transfer blow, and once again, Leicester City was the team that delivered the knockout punch.
The 2015-2016 Premier League champions revealed today that Riyad Mahrez, one of the Gunners' transfer targets this summer, has signed a contract extension with the club, that will keep him playing at King Power stadium until the end of the 2019-2020 season.

The Algerian international was a key performer in the 2015-2016 EPL season for the Foxes, scoring 17 goals and providing 11 assists. His performances earned him the PFA Player of the Year award, and raised interest from teams such as Chelsea, Arsenal and even Barcelona.
After their successful season, the Foxes offered new deals to most of their stars, including Jamie Vardy, Wes Morgan and Kasper Schmeichel.
