The Spanish striker returned to Los Blancos after a two-year spell with Juventus. He is expected to fight Karim Benzema for a spot in the team's lineup.

Alvaro Morata never wanted to leave Real Madrid in the first place, and he made it abundantly clear during his presentation on Monday.

The former Juventus striker was visibly moved throughout the act, and just after Florentino Pérez's speech, he stepped up to the podium to talk about what this move meant in his career.

"I'm finally back home. The last two years seemed to be unbearably long, but sometimes you have to leave a place to return as a more mature person, and that's what happened to me. Now, I'm ready to leave everything out there and stay here for as long as possible," Morata stated before breaking out in tears.

Moments later, the player was praised by 3,000 fans who made it to the stands of Santiago Bernabeu stadium.

Here's a couple more stills from Alvaro Morata's unveiling with Los Blancos.

The player's family and girlfried joined him on the stage as part of the ceremony.

The player is expected to play during Real Madrid's La Liga debut next Sunday, when Los Blancos travel to Anoeta Stadium to face Real Sociedad. The Spanish giants haven't been able to win La Liga since the 2011-2012 season.
