Italian manager Claudio Ranieri won't have to worry about his future after signing a contract extension with Leicester City earlier today.
The former Chelsea boss will coach the Foxes until the end of the 2019-2020 season, the team revealed on its website.
Leicester City's Vice Chairman Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha revealed the reasons why the team chose to hire Ranieri last year, and how his arrival changed the club's destiny for good.
"We brought to Leicester City a man whose knowledge and experience, we felt, could lead us into the next phase of our long-term plan. What he would go on to help us achieve, in the time we have achieved it, has been beyond anything we could have anticipated," Srivaddhanaprabha stated.
After signing his new contract with the Foxes, Ranieri shared his expectations for next season in a video posted on the team's Twitter feed.
