The Gunners fielded a strong squad in their recent 8-0 thrashing of Viking FK, and the same can be expected when they lock horns with the Citizens.

With the 2016/17 season right around the corner, Jack Wilshere is expected to sit out this friendly, with the English midfielder suffering of a patella injury.

Summer signings Rob Holding and Granit Xhaka are both tipped to start for the first time. Aaron Ramsey and Alexis Sanchez made early returns to Arsenal from their holiday, with the Welshman and Chilean ace likely to feature vs. Manchester City.

The weekend clash with be the first all-English showdown for Pep Guardiola since touching down at the Eithad, and the Spaniard is expected to hand debuts to a few new signings.
