Team news

Inter

Ivan Perisic, Ever Banega, Jeison Murillo and Marcelo Brozovic will all return to the fold after their summer holidays following the Euro and Copa America tournaments. Like Tottenham, Inter's pre-season has not been impressive. With the exception of a 2-1 win over Real Salt Lake, Roberto Mancini's men were outscored 7-2 during their two ICC games versus PSG and Bayern Munich, and even lost to Bulgarian outfit CSKA Sofia earlier last month.

The future of key striker Mauro Icardi is still up in the air, as the Argentinian continues to be linked with a move away to Napoli, but for now, he's still a Nerazzurri player and has been included in Mancini's 21-man group. New signing Antonio Candreva, who recently joined from Lazio will not take part in this game as he only had his first training session this week, but fans may see him in action during Inter's upcoming game against Borussia Monchengladbach.

Tottenham

Vincent Janssen and Victor Wanyama, who joined from AZ and Southampton for £17 million and £11 millon respectively, have featured for the ambitious London side throughout their summer pre-season campaign and will be hoping that this will help make their case for a spot in the starting XI once the Premier League campaign kicks off against Everton on August 13th. However, Wanyama , a Kenyan international, will not have a chance to feature in this friendly due to problems with processing his visa. Other absentees will also include Jan Vertonghen, who is still recovering from an ankle injury, as well as Nacer Chadli.

Meanwhile, Spurs will be welcoming back a whole crop of stars. English quintet Harry Kane, Eric Dier, Dele Alli, Kyle Walker, and Danny, as well as Hugo Lloris, Mousa Dembele and Toby Alderweireld all return to the fold after their post-Euro 2016 holidays. Expect the majority of these players feature in some capcaity against Inter as Pochettino seeks to get his stars up and running ahead of domestic affairs commencing in less than a fortnight.
