The Manchester United captain touched upon his plans for life after retirement.

Ahead of his testimonial match vs Everton, Wayne Rooney was asked about whether he planned on entering management after his playing days come to an end.

The Manchester United captain sat down with former team-mate Owen Hargreaves, with the Three Lions striker admitting to his fellow Englishman that he’d love to give coaching a try after calling an end to his successful career.

Although he’s yet to receive word from Sam Allardyce as to whether he’ll continue as England captain, the 30-year-old remains the Red Devils skipper.
