Cristiano is joined by another three aces on the list of players who won't face Sevilla.

Real Madrid’s preparation for the first piece of silverware up for grabs hasn’t been going well, as Los Blancos  look to be with another three star players for the UEFA Super Cup clash.

As reported by AS, the reigning Champions League winners have decided on handing Gareth Bale, Toni Kroos, and Pepe a prolonged holiday to their already-extended break. The reason: fitness coach advised Zinedine Zidane to push back their return date after their Euro 2016 campaigns.

Pepe, who made it all the way to the final before lifting the trophy, will report for duty on the 10th – alongside Cristiano. Bale and Kroos, on the other hand, having only made it to the semis, will return four days earlier on the 6th.

All three were due back in the Spanish capital on the 31st of July, but neither the Welsh, German, or Portuguese aces would likely be back to full match fitness for the Sevilla game.

The Real Madrid manager is thus willing to risk the Super Cup game in order to have Bale, Kroos, and Pepe ready for the season kick-off.

With the game set to be played on the 9th of August, the 11-time Champions League winners will have to manager, as Cristiano is recovering from injury. In addition, Les Merengues may also be without Karim Benzema, currently struggling with a hip issue.
