Pathetically, Arsenal failed make further steps towards the English Premier League title as the competition continues.
The Gunners suffered a 1-0 upset in the hands of Newcastle United, and they’ll be out to correct their mistakes on Wednesday night when they’ll play away to Wolverhampton Wanderers. Speaking to Sky Sports, Arsenal’s Theo Walcott expressed his disappointment following last weekend’s defeat but above all, the player underlined the Wolverhampton Wanderers match as an opportunity to bounce back.

“Football’s a great game. You’ve got ups and downs, with clubs like us slipping up. However, there are plenty of teams in it, still,” Walcott stated after Arsenal’s defeat to Newcastle.

“But, we’re not going to look too far ahead. We just want to concentrate on every single game and take a step when we can.

“[The defeat against Newcastle] is in the past now. We lost.

“But, the great thing about football is that there’s still another game around the corner. We’ve got a game on Wednesday, and we can amend the disappointment.”

Arsenal have dropped onto 3rd in the league standings with 5 points behind the leaders Chelsea and 3 points behind rivals Manchester United who occupy the 2nd spot. They might not have things that easy against Wolverhampton Wanderers who lost narrowly against Manchester United last weekend.

The Gunners couldn’t surmount Newcastle United’s challenge, but will they find their way to get back into the English Premier League title race on Wednesday?
