The Portuguese midfielder will add depth to Barcelona's midfield, just like he did for his National Team. Gomes played 75 games for Valencia since he joined the club in 2014, scoring eight goals in the process. Reports indicate that the 22-year old midfielder has reached an agreement to play the next five seasons for Barcelona.
