Bayern Munich star Arjen Robben has revealed he has no intentions of hanging up his boots for the Oranje in the near future.

The Netherlands international has been ruled out of his club's pre-season campaign and will miss the early weeks of the new season with the German giants after picking up a groin injury in Bayern Munich's friendly win away to Lippstadt.

Despite his many injuries throughout his career, the striker declared he will not quit international football. In a recent interview, the 32-year-old played down talks of retiring from his national team, saying:

"No. No, not at all. Not yet.

"Of course, you think about every situation, and especially the physical stuff is an issue for me. You can have some more breaks [if you leave international football] which might be good but I'm very proud to be able to play for Netherlands.

"I'm the team's captain, and it's an honour to play for your country. And I don't want to abandon that yet."

The Dutchman has made 88 caps with the Oranje, netting 30 goals in the process.
