Brazilian wonderkid Gabriel Jesus is continuing to make headlines with his ongoing saga surrounding his next destination.

Gabriel's impressive performances have sparked interests from Spanish giants and other top-flight European clubs. The Palmeiras starlet has made 54 appearances for the São Paulo-based side, netting 19 goals in the process.

Speaking to reporters, the 19-year-old footballer has confessed he is solely focused on the upcoming season with his team.

"I stay until the end of the season.

"After that, we will see."

The youngster will take part in his national team's Olympic campaign in Rio and Brazil legend Ronaldo has given his thoughts on the forward, telling Globo TV:

"I'm a fan of Gabriel as I look at him and see myself when I was younger.

"I see many similarities between us.

"He is young and is already very successful with a lot of responsibility.

"He has a footballing career ahead of him and is already delighting us with what he does."

The former Real Madrid man added:

"If [Jesus] passes all my records he will give great joy to this country's people who have suffered so much.

"Play, be happy and have fun with the ball. Later the coach will ask you to do many things, but when you have the ball, have fun, try nutmegs, but always look to score as this is what the fans like."
