The Citizens have already agreed terms with Leroy Sane, while they still have to determine if Schalke 04 is willing to lower the player's price tag.

Pep Guardiola keeps his Manchester City make over, and German footballer Leroy Sane seems to be next in line to sign with the Sky Blues.

Reports by The Mirror suggest that the 20-year old is close to signing a deal with the Citizens, since the team has already offered Sane a four-year deal to make his debut with Pep Guardiola's crew.

Sane has played 47 games and scored 11 goals for Schalke 04, eight of those in the recently concluded season. His form forced coach Joachim Löw to call him up to represent Germany in the UEFA Euro, where he only played one game.

After reaching a deal with the player, Manchester City will have to deal with Schalke's execs, who seem unwilling to sell the player for less than €50M. While the Premier League side believes they can shave off a couple of million due to the player's short experience in senior football, the Miners don't want to part ways with one of their most talented players.
