The player that scored one of the best goals in the UEFA Euro 2016 attracted interest from Chinese Super League, but he wants to keep on playing in England.

Despite having a £100,000 weekly wage to sign with Chinese Super League clubs, Welsh ace Hal Robson-Kanu seems headed to make a return to the English Premier League. The free agent, who concluded his contract with Reading before the UEFA Euro, is apparently set to join recently promoted side Hull, as informed by the team's coach Steve Bruce.

The coach didn't hold back when praising the Welsh striker, who scored a couple of goals during the tournament.

"I think Hal is a good age, has had a sort of re-birth if you like, of playing through the middle, because before that he has played wide most of the time. He is big, strong, powerful, quick and somebody who runs the other way, in football terms,"Bruce stated.

The striker lifted some of the goal scoring weight from Bale's shoulders during their historic run in the competition by scoring two goals for the Dragons.

The player revealed his desire to play in the English top flight next season, despite having three lucrative deals on his table.

"I had offers before the tournament - good offers from good, progressive clubs - but I made a decision to wait. I've made no secret of my desire to play in the Premier League and if that's the best place for me then I'll be there," Robson-Kanu revealed.
