Here is a quick look at all injured and suspended players ahead of the Euro 2016 semis.

The Euro 2016 has reached the semi-final stage where only two teams shall proceed to the finals. But before that happens, we take a quick look at the players who are suspended or injured ahead of the two semi-final matches between France and Germany and Wales and Portugal.

One thing that has irked some players and fans in this tournament is the yellow card rule introduced by UEFA. The rule states that a player who has received two yellow cards is ineligible to play in the next match. Also, if he receives a yellow card in the group stage, the booking is carried forward into the knockout stage. The statistics below clearly show that there are more suspended players than injured ones, courtesy of the controversial rule.

France

Injured: None

Suspended: The hosts have no suspended player in this tournament. Instead, central defender Adil Rami is expected to return from suspension to face Die Mannschaft.

Portugal

Injured: Pepe is fighting to pass a late fitness test ahead of the crucial tie against Wales. The Real Madrid defender picked up a thigh injury in their quarter-final match against Poland. If he misses the match due to injury, coach Fernando Santos could replace him with Ricardo Carvalho.
