La Roja cruised to the finals of the Copa America Centenario where they faced last year's rivals Argentina. And just like last summer, the match was held to a goalless draw, which resulted in extra time and ultimately, a penalty shootout.

Not only did La Roja snatch back-to-back Copa America titles, but Juan Antonio Pizzi's crew also received several individual awards. Chile's striker Eduardo Vargas took home the Golden Boot after his four-goal mastery against Mexico in the quarter-finals. Vargas finished this summer's Copa America campaign as the top scorer with six goals. In addition, Arsenal's Alexis Sanchez collected the Golden Ball for the most valuable player of the competition.
The awards continued for Chile, as shot-stopper Claudio Bravo was given the Golden Glove for the best goalkeeper of this competition with 13 saves, and three clean sheets.
Following Argentina's heartbreak, La Albiceleste did not leave the MetLife Stadium empty-handed, as Messi and Co. were granted with the Fair Play Award.
Furthermore, the Technical Study Group also announced the tournament’s Best XI:
