Here is everything you need to know about the Ukraine vs Poland Euro 2016 match, including when and where to watch it live.

Ukraine have suffered back-to-back defeats in this competition and face a Polish side that needs only a draw to qualify to the knockout phase. With the Yellow-Blue already knocked out of the competition, they have nothing else to fight for apart from pride in their last game. Mykhaylo Fomenko’s side failed to beat Northern Ireland, a match that they had expected to win easily.

Germany sit at the top of Group C with four points, same with Poland. Northern Ireland come third with three points while Ukraine sit at the bottom of the group without a point. A win for Poland will take them to the top of the group if Germany loses or draws with Northern Ireland.

The White and Reds secured a 1-0 win over Northern Ireland in their opening game of the competition and secured a goalless draw with Germany in their second game.

Adam Nawalka’s side came into this competition with a poor defensive record but have so far kept two clean sheets thanks to the partnership of Michal Pazdan and Kamil Glik at the back. Grzegorz Krychowiak’s role at the midfield has also ensured that the Polish side has enough protection at the back, as star forward Robert Lewandowski continues to search for his first goal of the tournament.

Given that Lewa’s longest goalless drought was a run of four matches, he could be on his way to finally finding the back of the net. The Bayern Munich forward pumped in 13 goals in the qualifiers of the competition.

Team news

Ukraine

Despite having an impressive record against Poland, Ukraine do not seem to be in the right position to win this match. Coach Fomenko has no injury concerns or suspended players ahead of this fixture but could make some few changes to his starting lineup following the two consecutive defeats in their first two games.

Poland

Goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny is expected to miss this match after picking up an injury against Northern Ireland. Lukasz Fabianski is expected to retain his position between the posts. Coach Adam Nawalka could retain the same squad that held Germany to a goalless draw.

Head to head

Poland have failed to beat Ukraine in their last five attempts. In the 2014 World Cup qualifiers, Ukraine beat their Tuesday opponents both home and away. Andriy Yarmolenko was on target in both legs of this fixture.

These two teams have faced each other seven times since 1998. Out of the seven meetings, Poland have won twice, drawn twice, and lost thrice.
