Fans around the world witnessed one of the most heart-breaking moments in the UEFA Euro 2016, as Croatian captain Darijo Srna broke out in tears during his country's anthem.
Shakhtar Donetsk's defender recently returned from his country after attending his father's funeral, and he couldn't keep it together when he heard the notes from his home land.
Before the game, Srna told reporters his father asked him to play the game against Czech Republic.
"His last wish was that I played," Srna revealed earlier.
Srna was part of the guard of honor during his father's memorial service.
Here's the moment when Srna remembered his father with tears in his eyes.
