The Swedish team had quite the chance to level with the Azzurri, appealing for a penalty in injury time. However, the referee did not give the call. This resulted in a win for the Italians, securing another three points to claim the top spot in Group E.
Yet, the question remains if it was a deserved penalty for Erik Hamrén's side or just a desperate appeal to help keep their hopes alive in their UEFA Euro 2016 campaign.

1) wrong throw in from #Chiellini
2) penalty no given to Sweden #ITASWE #EURO2016
@ArmadaUGS lol the "penalty" at the end was just Sweden player diving to get a call

Awful match. Sweden didn't want to win, but almost drew the penalty in stoppage time. Could have come out with a draw. Poor performance.

Sweden trying to grasp at anything for a penalty kick to save themselves in the 94th minute of 3 minute over time...give up
