Austria will go head-to-head with arch-rivals Hungary, as both teams will fight to secure three points in their first official appearance of Euro 2016.
Marcel Koller’s side qualified for the UEFA Euro 2016 in a fashionable manner, remaining unbeaten in all of their games. The Austrians won nine of their ten qualifying matches, while only drawing against Sweden 1-1. This will be the first time the Wunderteam have entered the European Championships through qualifying stages, as the only other time they managed to participate in this top-flight tournament was when they co-hosted Euro 2008.
Meanwhile, this will be Hungary’s first appearance in this summer competition since 1972. The Golden Team will be heading into Euro 2016 after finishing third on the table with 16 points during the qualification round.

Hungary will be heading into their opening Euro 2016 match with an almost fully fit squad. The only doubt will be winger Balazs Dzsudzsak, as the 29-year-old picked up a hamstring injury in late-April.
