Real Madrid and Wales’ star made history on Saturday when he scored a superb free-kick goal against Slovakia in the ongoing Euro 2016 tournament. The Welshman was the most prominent player on the pitch on both sides, and proved exactly why he was highly rated. 

The 26-year-old made history by scoring Wales’ first ever Euro 2016 goal to the excitement of the thousands of fans who had thronged the Nouveau Stade de Bordeaux to watch the first match of Group B. The Dragons are aiming at proceeding past the group stage on their debut appearance at the European Championship and the former Tottenham Hotspur man will be key in their ambitions.
