ESPN Networks have moved the UEFA Euro 2016 opening match from ESPN to ESPN2, following a decision to present live coverage of Muhammad Ali’s memorial service.

Coverage of the France vs Romania match is now set to begin at 2:00pm ET on Friday on ESPN2, with a one-hour pre-match program leading to kickoff at 3pm ET. The programming update comes as a result of time conflicts, as live coverage of Muhammad Ali’s memorial service on ESPN is also due to begin at 2pm ET on June 10.

The France vs Romania match will be called in English by play-by-play commentator Ian Darke, analyst Taylor Twellman and reporter Steve Bower. Spanish commentary will be brought to viewers by Fernando Palomo and Tato Noriega on ESPN Deportes.
